As a valued member of the community in which we play in, North Stars Baseball Club often participates in city volunteer opportunities that enrich our athlete’s lives and benefits the community in which we call home.
Our first #CommunityEnrichment opportunity for the summer 2021 season happened the first week of June (June 4th) at the Tanana Valley State Fair Fairgrounds. Athletes from all four of our teams with help from some parents represented North Stars by prepping, weeding, and replanting plants in several gardening beds on the property.
Community enrichment has been a valuable core vision of North Stars Baseball over the years. The opportunities provide our athletes time to bond, develop trust in each other, and gives the city we call home some beautification events.
Thank you to the athletes who represented North Stars Baseball at the event and showed up with a smile, work ethic, and a helpful heart.
