Your athlete is now entering into the DEVELOP stage of long term development. The athletes physical and skill development becomes increasingly individualized and caters to their growth – and starts to become specific to position(s). Rest and recovery from workouts, practices, and games are imperative. In appropriate instances, specialization may occur in this stage, but multi-sport athletics are still encouraged. Athletes who demonstrate an advanced level of development within the sport may also wish to further dedicate themselves to their progression towards the upper echelons of the game.  Athletes can expect to practice 65% of the time, and no more than 35% will be dedicated to competing in games at 3-4 days a week.
