FAIRBANKS, ALASKA – April 23, 2026 – The snow is beginning to melt and the days are growing longer — you know what that means; It’s baseball season!!. The Fairbanks North Stars Travel Baseball program is thrilled to officially announce the 10U, 12U, and 14U rosters for the 2026 summer season. After months of indoor winter training and highly competitive spring tryouts, these young athletes are ready to take the diamond under the Midnight Sun.
“We had an incredible turnout for tryouts this year, showcasing the growing passion for baseball here in the Interior,” said Justin Witt, Board President for the North Stars. “Our coaching staff faced some incredibly tough decisions, but we are confident that these three rosters represent the dedication, talent, and sportsmanship that the North Stars organization stands for. We can’t wait to get outside and hear the crack of the bat.”
The North Stars will be competing in local leagues as well as traveling to regional tournaments across the state of Alaska throughout the summer. Included in summer plans are also trips outside of the state of Alaska to showcase the budding interior talent.

Opening Day and Schedule Information
The North Stars will kick off their outdoor practice schedule in early May, weather permitting. The official season opener and complete tournament schedules will be posted on our website, also in May.
